Khurram currently lends his expertise to the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Ministry for the Environment, and various local government initiatives—demonstrating a strong commitment to community development and excellence in public service.
His dedication has been formally recognised with prestigious honours, including the Community Service Award 2020 from the Khadija Leadership Network and the Kiwibank Local Hero Medal 2024 for Hawke’s Bay. These accolades reflect not only his individual achievements but also his deep passion for uplifting and uniting his community.
