Sana Ammar has been a proud resident of New Zealand for over nine years. A dedicated mother of three sons, she is also the force behind The Art of Cooking by Sana Ammar, a successful home-based food catering business she has been running since 2017. Over the years, Sana has catered for numerous high-profile events, including the Manukau Police Station Iftaar, Bazm-e-Adab, the University of Auckland Eid Lunch, and many more—earning a reputation for excellence and hospitality.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Sana has been actively involved in community service. She served as the Women’s Wing Coordinator for PANZ during 2018–2019, playing a key role in organizing events such as Kite Day, Independence Day celebrations, and Chand Raat gatherings. Notably, she initiated and arranged two of the largest women’s social events in the community—events that continue to be fondly remembered and celebrated.
Sana is now standing as a candidate for the position of Coordinator for the East Auckland region in the upcoming PANZ Elections 2025. With a strong track record of service and community engagement, she seeks your support to continue enhancing initiatives that foster unity, representation, and meaningful connections within the community.
